“Picasso In The Six” was the home of a successful young lady, who had rented and was given a better opportunity in life, forcing her to sell. In Toronto’s NOT so HOT real estate market, now was the time to showcase the home in all it’s potential.
During our consultation, Glass Onion Group Inc. identified a list of home improvements that needed to be done in order to sell the home in a timely manner and receive a substantial return on investment. By following our design recommendations and investing in minimal improvements, our team was able to completely redesign the space in one week, at no additional cost for staging, with outstanding results. In addition, our team was so lucky to find and identify pieces of her art collection (buried in the back of rooms/closets) to really make this space pop and also, resulting in an independent promotion and new business for our client. A true WIN-WIN!!
The “Design-To-Sell” overhaul included: painting, new window coverings, new kitchen floors, minor repairs (including plaster/filling holes) and new lighting.
“Picasso In The Six” was listed well above market value in the fall and sold just under asking in just 5 days, with a short closing to accommodate the sellers.
All staging was done in-house to keep costs to a minimum; an inclusive price for a bundled package offered by Glass Onion Group (included: new real estate, listing real estate, design consultation and staging).
“Sarah and her team saved the day and made the real estate listing process extremely painless. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to move ahead in such a short timeframe and I wish her all the best!” – Kelly
